ओडिशा के बालासोर में हुए भीषण रेल हादसे के बाद रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव विपक्षी दलों के निशाने पर आ गए हैं. विपक्ष के नेता सैकड़ों यात्रियों की मौत के लिए अश्निनी वैष्णव को जिम्मेदार मानते हुए उनसे इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहे हैं. वहीं रेल मंत्री ने इस्तीफे के सवाल पर जवाब दिया है. उन्होंने मीडिया से कहा कि ये समय राजनीति करने का नहीं है.भी राहत पहुंचाने का वक्त है. हमारा सारा फोकस रेस्क्यू पर है. पूरी ताकत के साथ काम कर रहे हैं. मैं कहीं नहीं जा रहा हूं, मैं यहीं हूं बचाव कार्य बहुत तेजी से चल रहा है.
